Democratic and Republican voters continue casting ballots in key local races. Early voting runs through Sunday at five locations.

Another 178 people cast their primary ballots June 17 during early voting in Onondaga County, bringing the total to 740 for the first four days.

Much of the activity is in the city, where Democrats are choosing candidates for mayor, councilor at-large, and commissioner of education. Republicans in Cicero, Elbridge, and Pompey are deciding on town supervisor and council candidates.

Polls are open June 18 until 8 p.m. at five locations. Early voting continues through Sunday, June 23.
