Five Central New York school districts passed revised budgets Tuesday after initial proposals were rejected last month.

All five districts trimmed their spending plans, with Central Square, Cazenovia and Cortland making significant cuts. Jordan-Elbridge and Vernon-Verona-Sherrill made smaller adjustments.

Had the revised budgets failed, officials warned of deep cuts to programs and services under contingency plans.
