The Onondaga County Central Library in downtown Syracuse lost its air condition last week, but continued serving clients curbside through the week until the AC was repaired.

The Central Library downtown is now open after a nearly three-week closure.

An air conditioning failure forced the branch on S. Salina St. to shut down July 23rd.

Over the last week, staff continued to serve visitors curbside to allow them to check out, return, or hold materials.

All three floors of the branch opened Monday for regular business hours.
