More Onondaga County residents are registering to vote in the upcoming local election. The Board of Elections says 700 people were added to the rolls in the last month.

A nearly equal number registered as Democrats and Republicans, about 120 each. But more than double that total chose not to enroll in any party.

Early voting gets underway on October 15.
