A group of firs, or Christmas trees, grow together.

The Town of Dewitt has holiday fun planned for Friday night at its town hall with an annual tree lighting.

The holiday event will include its ugly sweater contest, and crafters and bakers will also sell holiday goods. There will also be a live singing performance by Girl Scouts at 6:30 p.m. and pictures with the Grinch.

The event will begin at 6 p.m. at 5400 Butternut Drive in East Syracuse. The tree lighting is set for 7:30 p.m.
