Republican Daniel Ciciarelli, left, is challenging Democratic incumbent Pam Hunter in the 128th assembly district race.

Voters in the 128th assembly district are choosing whether to send Democrat Pam Hunter back to Albany for a fifth term, or give her Republican challenger Daniel Ciciarelli a chance. The district covers the eastern and southern sections of Syracuse along with the towns of Salina, DeWitt, Onondaga, and the Onondaga Nation. In our Election Connection series, WAER’s Scott Willis caught up with both candidates.

In the public interest, WAER offered each candidate the chance to state their campaign platforms uninterrupted in less than a minute, including who they are, why they're running, their priorities, and how they're financing their campaign. We then asked several follow up questions, all of which can be heard by clicking the listen bubble above.
