Central New York home sales increase

Home sales remain relatively strong in the Syracuse region, with new listings entering the market each month.

Central New York home sales and prices were up in July.

The Greater Syracuse Association of REALTORS says home sales were up 1.2% compared to July of 2024. The association says new listings increased by 48.5% percent in the last year, while mortgage rates are currently the lowest they’ve been since October.

New listings have also increased over the last 4 months. The July median sales price was nearly 270-thousand dollars, a 10% hike over last year.
