Onondaga County Health confirms West Nile Virus cases in the region

Onondaga County's Health Department has confirmed two more human West Nile Virus cases in the region.

Health officials said it highlights the risk of mosquito borne illness and remind people to use mosquito repellant, wear long sleeves, pants and socks, especially in the morning and at dusk. Also install window and door screens. It’s the 3rd positive case this summer.
