Heavy traffic expected for the SU Football opener

The JMA Wireless Dome shining bright on SU's campus — Football fans coming to Saturday's Syracuse v. Connecticut game are warned to arrive early.

People coming to the Syracuse football game against Connecticut Saturday are urged to come early.

A large crowd, road closures and changes due to the I-81 Viaduct project, along with the new mobile parking passes could slow things up. SU recommends those driving to the game use the WAZE app for directions.

Parking around the JMA Dome is sold out and those without a parking pass should park in the Skytop Lot. Parking lots will open at 8 a.m. and the Dome will open at 10:30 a.m. Kickoff is at noon.
