Onondaga County Legislature

Onondaga County Legislature term limits will likely change next year. Voter results currently favor passing Proposition One, waiting on 40% of election day votes and less than 5% of early voting.

If passed, Proposition One will change the Onondaga County Legislature terms from two to four years. It will also enforce 12-year term limits on legislators, where there have previously been none.

New York State is also likely to pass its own Proposal One, detailing the expansion of a winter sports facility into the Adirondack Forest Preserve. Currently, the race for proposal one has most of the early voting and 20% of election day voting in.

Even with the majority of early voting in favor of Proposition One and Proposal One, things have the potential to change, awaiting election day voting.
