If you are planning on flying out of Syracuse for Thanksgiving expect it to be busy. The Syracuse Airport Authority is anticipating 8-thousand passengers arriving and departing Hancock airport each day with a third of them scheduled to depart before 7 a.m. Because of this security checkpoints will be open by 3:30 a.m. in the morning and travelers are asked to arrive two hours early. Those parking are asked to book their spots on-line at the airport’s website. The airport added multiple food and beverage options over the last year as part of its remodeling efforts.
