Every month 16,000 children in Onondaga County receive a free book from Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. And Friday, the Literacy Coalition of Syracuse is asking residents to “Give Like Dolly as they’re “working 9 to 5 on 9/25!” Kids enrolled in the Imagination Library get a free book a monthly from birth to five years-old. Parton founded the program to honor her father who could not read or write.
