Central New York residents can get information about available jobs and workforce training at a labor fair Thursday, Oct. 8th. The event at teh New York State Fairgrounds will feature employers, as well as job training and education agencies.

State Senator Christopher Ryan said in a release that among the employers will be: Wegmans, Upstate Medical University, and the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Department. Job-training options include CNY Works, OCM BOCES and Boilermakers Local 5, IBEW Local 43 and 1249, and others.
