Charlene Tarver

Charlene Tarver is a nonprofit executive and Southside Syracuse native who founded the Women's Economic Institute. She has worked with LISC NY on affordable senior housing. She lost the Democratic primary for County Legislature District 16 to Nyatwa Bullock by seven votes and is on the Working Families Party line for the general election. She is not a Republican, and no Republican is on the district 16 ballot. Her priorities include healthcare access, education investment and housing affordability.
