James Corl

James Corl, 24, is from Cicero and has a bachelor's degree in political science from Le Moyne College. He worked for three years as legislative director for State Sen. Mark Walczyk and resigned in December 2025 to run for this seat. He previously managed his father's unsuccessful campaign for Family Court judge. He has not held elected office. His campaign centers on affordability and state spending, and he proposes capping state budget growth at the rate of inflation. He supports removing barriers to homeownership. He favors an all-of-the-above energy strategy that includes nuclear power and natural gas.
