Joe Bloss

As host of Alt & Pepper, I take it upon myself to use my two hours on air to spice up your life with some of the freshest and finest in alternative and indie music. Now, I realize those are umbrella terms containing endless subgenres, but I try to span a wide range of sounds with what I spin on the show — from emo rock to electronic pop and everything in between. I'll play both new releases and ultimate throwbacks, so there's room for music lovers of all eras.

Outside of the Alt 88 studio, I'm a broadcast and digital journalism major here at SU where I spend a lot of my time working at The Daily Orange. I'm from Marlton, New Jersey, which is just a few miles across the bridge from Philadelphia. In my free time, you'll usually find me spending too much money on concert tickets or religiously following my favorite baseball and basketball teams.
