Joseph Zavaglia

Joseph Zavaglia, 50, grew up in Onondaga County and earned an associate degree from Onondaga Community College, a bachelor's degree in philosophy, politics and law from SUNY Binghamton, and a law degree from the New England School of Law. He is a sitting Onondaga County Family Court judge, elected in November 2023, and also serves as a village justice in East Syracuse. He was the first Family Court judge appointed to the county's Youth Part.
