Mikayla Melo

Mikayla Melo is an undergraduate student studying Magazine, News, and Digital Journalism at Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, expected to graduate in May 2026. As a field researcher, she helps cover community meetings and events for WAER. Mikayla's goal is to go international to be a political and investigative reporter. Mikayla enjoys reading, writing, traveling, and matcha lattes.
