On this episode, Joe Lee sits down with Syracuse-area native Hughie Stone Fish, an Emmy Award-winning songwriter and producer, artist, and non-profit leader - just to name a few. The two discuss how he’s bringing transformative arts education to under-resourced youth through The Arts Project Syracuse (TAPS), an album he produced with the kids of the organization and other artists, and rocketing their art into space!
Hughie shares how music, visual arts and hands-on learning are building confidence, creating opportunities and connecting young people with their community. He also discusses how Central New Yorkers can help sustain the program through donations, art supplies, food and clothing drives, or just giving them a follow a social media.
