A Syracuse University professor, who took the ice over thirty years ago, took the ice in Lake Placid, where she inspired young fans at the 2026 Empire State Winter Games.

Syracuse will soon get to see over 50 Disney characters in Disney on Ice, and one of the performers hopes the show inspires young viewers to follow their dreams as they did.
