NYS minimum wage

The state's joint legislative fiscal committee will meet Wednesday to discuss Gov. Kathy Hochul's proposal to link the state's minimum wage to the yearly inflation rate.

The low wage rose to $14.20 per hour at the start of the new year, the final stage of the state's tiered increases.
