WAER staff won awards for best spot news coverage, best sports story and honorable mention for best news feature by Syracuse Press Club.

WAER's News and Sports departments won awards in six categories, announce Saturday night at the Syracuse Press Club awards banquet. General Manager Chris Bolt also was given the club's Professional Standards Award for high standards and inspiration to others.
