Syracuse University Chancellor Keny Syverud

Kent Syverud, 69, announced he was diagnosed with a form of brain cancer. He stepped down from the head of SU immediately, and will no longer take over as President of University of Michigan.

After serving 12 years at the helm of SU the Chancellor says he will wrap up his tenure at the end of the school year in June of 2026.
