Science on the Radio Discusses Gravitational Waves

Charly W Karl Flickr Page

2015 was a big year for Gravitational Waves as they were detected, confirming Albert Einsteins prediction that they existed back in 1916. If you've ever seen a ripple on a wave of water then you've witnessed Gravitational Waves.  What causes these waves? That's the topic of Science on the Radio this week, as Dr. Marvin Drugers take us on another exploration of knowledge.

Also this week you'll hear how the waves were detected and what that means for future scientific studies.

You can hear Science on the Radio each Wednesday Night at 8:35 on WAER.
