The number of confirmed COVID-19 remained elevated over the weekend in Onondaga County. County Executive Ryan McMahon reported in a tweet Monday there are currently 11,532 active cases of the virus.
McMahon said there were 91 new admissions to the hospital due to COVID-19 since Friday. The number of patients in intensive care is 219, 71% of which are unvaccinated.

Onondaga County will host a COVID-19 vaccine booster clinic at Tucker Missionary Baptist Church in Syracuse Tuesday. The clinic will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and around 150 appointments are available. Registration is required. You can sign up on the county's website.
