Syracuse legislators OK $2.1 million in pandemic relief spending

The Syracuse Common Council unanimously approved $2.1 million in pandemic relief funds on Monday.

$350,000 will be used to help high school students transition to college with On-Point for College, another $1.25 million will help resource arts and culture organizations that continue to recover from revenue lost during the two-year pandemic.

The package of relief funds will also provide more than $400,000 to help individuals and families recover from the pandemic and become more financially stable in the coming future.
