Gov. Kathy Hochul was endorsed by the Central New York American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations this weekend.
Hochul attended the group's rally in Syracuse and was joined by other lawmakers and union members. The CNY AFL-CIO called Hochul a strong advocate for working people and the type of person needed to move the state forward.
Hochul is facing a primary challenge from Long Island Congressmember Tom Suozzi and New York City Public Advocate Jumaane Williams.
