The Onondaga County Executive is warning residents about the increase in COVID-19 hospitalizations caused by wide-spread cases of Omicron sub-variants. Ryan McMahon said hospitals are very stressed at the moment and he urges residents to be cautious. McMahon is asking residents who are eligible to at least consider getting boosted.
According to McMahon, 7% of the total number of patients at Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse have COVID-19.

According to McMahon, 7% of the total number of patients at Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse have COVID-19. There was a total of 126 patients are hospitalized in Syracuse hospitals and ten are in the ICU.
