The State Department of Transportation began work on the Interstate 690 bridges over John Glenn Boulevard. The upcoming improvements will mean daily road closures and other adjustments for travelers.
Crews will be painting the bridges over the next 2 to 3 weeks and the closures will be from 5 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Detours that will direct traffic to Exit 2 Jones Road in order to access John Glenn Boulevard via Stiles Road and Farrell Road.
Motorists are asked to slow down in this and other work zone areas.
