The SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry has the best sustainability curriculum in the country, according to a new ranking by the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education.

The ranking observes the school’s courses, programs, learning outcomes and faculty development among other factors.

SUNY ESF President Joanie Mahoney said the rank shows the school is “practicing what we teach and serves as motivation to continue equipping students with the knowledge necessary to create a sustainable future.”

The school also ranks in the top ten for public engagement, water use management and doctoral-granting.
