The JMA Wireless Dome will host the 38th Martin Luther King, Jr. celebration.

Syracuse University’s Chancellor says the university continues to recognize the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. In an email to the campus community, Kent Syverud says King fought injustice, demanded change and persevered no matter how strong the headwinds. SU has honored King for 38 years and will continue its community wide celebration, the first time in person since 2020, on Sunday. The guest speaker will be Reverend Phil Turner of Bethany Baptist Church in Syracuse. The event will be held at the JMA Wireless Dome on Sunday, January 22nd.
