New York State DOT to host public open house

Cars rush past on the Syracuse I-81.

The state Department of Transportation is inviting the public to an open house Monday to learn more about a bridge project on I-81 in Syracuse.

The department wants to start rehabilitating the bridge over East Colvin Street this fall.

The open house will be begin at 5:30 p.m. at the Syracuse Latin School on Jamesville Avenue.
