Gas prices at pumps in CNY are 6¢ to 10¢ cheaper in Syracuse.

The latest AAA survey showed the price of a gallon of gas continued to hold steady in Syracuse and below the national average of $3.14 a gallon.

Following national trends, Syracuse’s prices at the pump fell a penny on average over the week at $3.10. Fueling in Ithaca and Rome cost drivers six to ten cents more per gallon. Western New York’s gas average prices tied in Rochester and Buffalo at $3.19 a gallon.

AAA has suggested drivers plan their routes to combine errands into a single trip and avoid driving during high traffic hours.
