The 2000s were the start of a new millenium and a number of championships for the Syracuse Orange. A Men's Basketball National Championship, multiple Men's Lacrosse National Championships, Women's Field Hockey National Championship, and the list goes on.
In 2020, celebration was in order for Syracuse University's 150th anniversary. However, the COVID-19 global pandemic has forced closures of univerisities and schools across the country. SU's anniversary on March 23rd did not go on as plan, but the legacy and work of the university goes on.
