The Interstate 81 and Interstate 690 interchange runs through Syracuse, NY.

Construction on Interstate 81 is likely to cause delays this week. The Department of Transportation is closing lanes for bridge repairs and inspections in both directions daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

I-81 southbound between I-690 and Adams - Harrison Streets will be reduced to one lane through October 22.

I-81 northbound between the Fairgrounds Baldwinsville and the I-690 westbound on-ramp to I-81 northbound (Watertown) will also be reduced to one lane through Friday, October 18.

Construction schedules are weather-dependent.
