Heavy snow continues to accumulate in Oswego County, NY.

Oswego County declared a State of Emergency on Tuesday as relentless lake-effect snow and whiteout conditions continue for a third straight day.

County Legislative Chairman James Weatherup says the severe weather is making it difficult for crews to clear roads.

"Our highway crews are working diligently to keep the roads clear, but the continued lake-effect snow is making it difficult."

The Oswego County Sheriff has also extended a no unnecessary travel advisory until further notice.
