Votes in the U.S. House fell along party lines on the latest continuing resolution.

New York Democrat John Mannion calls it a partisan spending plan that cuts funding for local law enforcement, medical and agricultural research, and shifts constitutional power to former President Trump and Elon Musk. He says it fails to protect Social Security and Medicaid and ignores immigration reform and rising grocery prices.

Meanwhile, New York Republican Claudia Tenney supports the measure, saying it advances Trump’s America First agenda and prevents a government shutdown. She warns that without Trump’s tax cuts in a Senate reconciliation package, district residents could face tax increases.
