Canastota man sentenced for selling heroin-fentanyl mix, illegal gun possession

A Canastota man is going to federal prison for five years after selling deadly mixtures of heroin and fentanyl. Federal prosecutors say 46-year-old Andrew Snyder admitted he and his wife sold the drugs out of their garage for nearly two years.

Snyder also illegally possessed two handguns while using methamphetamine. His wife, Jessica Snyder, is expected to be sentenced later this month.
