Central New Yorkers can see the artistic talents of some of their friends and neighbors in the latest Art for Art’s Sake exhibit Sunday, May 18.

Titled “Light and Shadow,” the show features painting, photography, digital art, sculpture and other mediums. Artists’ works were judged by the owners of Syracuse’s Edgewood Gallery.

In their words, they looked for works that ‘explore contrast, depth, and interpretation through light and darkness … literal or symbolic.’

The Art for Art’s Sake exhibit runs Sunday afternoon from 3:30 to 5:30 at the Atrium on Washington Street in Syracuse and includes music from Brian Francis.
