The public will have one final opportunity to weigh in on the 20-year development plan for Syracuse Hancock International Airport on Wednesday from 4 to 6 p.m.

The Syracuse Regional Airport Authority (SRAA) is hosting its fourth and final open house in its conference room to gather feedback on the latest draft. The plan outlines proposed runway expansions, new taxi paths, environmental impact studies, and the projected budget to guide construction over the next two decades.

The airport experienced record growth last year, with more than 3 million passengers passing through its terminals. That number is expected to rise significantly as Micron builds its semiconductor chip fabrication facilities just eight miles north of the airport, a project expected to bring 50,000 new jobs to the region.
