Rep. John Mannion gets early endorsement for second term

Scott Willis
End Citizens United backs Mannion for standing up to special interests.

Congressmember John Mannion has only been in office for a little over six months, but he’s already earned an endorsement for a second term.

The group End Citizens United says Mannion has shown strong support for working people and has pushed back against special interests. The group was formed in response to the Supreme Court’s 2010 Citizens United decision, which allowed unlimited election spending by corporations and outside groups.

Mannion says he’s focused on protecting jobs and the interests of Central New Yorkers. So far, no Republican challenger has entered the race.
