Syracuse man sentenced to 15 years for selling meth and fentanyl

Federal officials say the man admitted to selling drugs and illegally owning guns. His drug activity targeted the Syracuse area.

A Syracuse man was sentenced to 15 years in federal prison for selling methamphetamine and fentanyl. Authorities said 29-year-old Uqoeon Lawrence admitted to the drug charges and to illegally owning firearms, despite having a prior felony conviction.

Investigators said his drug sales focused on the Syracuse area. After serving his prison sentence, Lawrence will be on supervised release for five years.
