Drivers can anticipate more delays on parts of I-81 and I-481 throughout October. month. The NYS Department of Transportation says crews will be making bridge deck and joint repairs, as well as preparing for upcoming snow and ice season.
The agency says all work will take place weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and at the following locations:
· October 3-4: I-81 southbound over North Salina Street; left lane closure
· October 10-13: I-481 northbound between Kinne Road and the on-ramp from I-690 eastbound to I-481 northbound
· October 16-20: I-81 northbound between exit 18 (Adams Street and Harrison Street) and the onramp to I-690 westbound; expect double lane closure.
· October 23-27: I-81 southbound between exit 18 (Adams Street Harrison Street) and south of exit 17 (South State Street, South Salina Street, Brighton Avenue); expect double lane closure.
