Siena College Research Institute Poll Results

Nearly 80 percent of New Yorkers say they’re more optimistic than pessimistic. That’s according to a June poll conducted by the Siena College Research Institute.

It also finds that about half of New Yorkers say there is more opportunity to be who you are today as opposed to half a century ago. And that they’re living a healthy life.

Roughly 9-in-10 New Yorkers across all income levels reported worrying about politics and the state of the world.
