Onondaga County Executive Ryan McMahon is among twelve New York County leaders who have been appointed to National Association of Counties leadership posts.

McMahon will chair the International Economic Development Innovation Council. Other Central New York appointees are Terry Wilbur and Philip Church from Oswego County and John Pinard of Madison County.

The New York Association of Counties said in a statement, “Having New York voices in national policy discussions ensures that our communities are not only heard, but help lead the charge in building stronger, more resilient counties nationwide.”
