Youlanda Hudgins-Johnson oversees the management and operation of the city’s Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprise (MWBE) program.

The City of Syracuse is hosting a series of workshops to get underserved businesses more involved with community projects and initiatives. The Let’s Do Business workshop series will show Minority and Women Owned Business Enterprises and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses how to get certified so they can do contracting work with the city. The city says the goal is to be more inclusive and help those businesses grow and succeed. The workshops will also help the businesses network with others. The sessions will be held September 6th, November 6th and January 8th. More information can be found on the Syracuse government website.
