Central New Yorkers looking for work get over to the Onondaga County Central Library in Syracuse Wednesday

The Onondaga County Central Library in downtown Syracuse is hosting a job fair today (September 10) from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Central New Yorkers looking for a job in construction can get in front of more than half-a-dozen employers at a job fair event. It will focus on building, maintenance and manufacturing industries.

Among the participating organizations looking to hire are: The Rescue Mission, Northside Collision, Upstate Medical University, The City of Syracuse and the School District, Syracuse University, various manufacturers, and the fair’s host Jubilee Homes.

The job fair runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, September 10 at the downtown Central Library.

Chris Bolt, Ed.D. has proudly been covering the Central New York community and mentoring students for more than 30 years. His career in public media started as a student volunteer, then as a reporter/producer. He has been the news director for WAER since 1995.
