Madison County residents can weigh in next week on plans for a large solar energy generation facility in the Town of Fenner.
State energy regulators are holding a virtual hearing next Tuesday about the Oxbow Hill Solar company’s plans to build a 140-megawatt solar farm located within the existing footprint of the Fenner Wind array. It would connect to the grid using an existing substation that distributes electricity.
The hearing takes place Tuesday November 18th at 2:00 p.m.

Those wishing to comment on any aspect of this proceeding will have the opportunity to make a statement on the record at the virtual public statement hearing. Pre-registration to speak at the virtual public statement hearing is not required.

All participants will be muted upon entry into the hearing. The ALJ will call upon each person who asks to make a statement. The ALJ will continue the hearing until everyone wishing to speak has been heard or other reasonable arrangements to submit comments have been made. Reasonable time limits may be set for each speaker as necessary to afford all attendees an opportunity to be heard. It is requested that lengthy comments be submitted in writing and summarized for oral presentation. A verbatim transcript of the hearing will be made for inclusion in the record of this case.
