Knicks players Jordan Clarkson (L) and Mitchell Robinson soaked in the adulation from the huge crowd that turned out for the victory celebration.

Players and coaches rode in floats down the Canyon of Heroes, Broadway's famous stretch of skyscrapers, framing the event.

Team star Jalen Brunson chided fans who didn't believe in the team. Owner James Dolan promised the crowd they would make every effort to repeat as champions. Player Jose Alvarado, who grew up in projects in New York City, energized the crowd as a hometown hero.
