Incumbent Congressman John Mannion won a second term as the representative of the 22nd district of New York.

Incumbent Congressman John Mannion has won reelection, NBC projects.

Mannion campaigned on issues like social security, energy policy, the national debt, and opposing House Resolution 1, also called the Big Beautiful Bill.

“In these two years, it’s the least productive Congress, and unfortunately we don’t see a lot of bipartisanship because the opposition party is really in line with whatever the president’s agenda is,” Mannion said in an interview with WAER in September.

His Republican opponent, Kailee Buller, campaigned on affordability issues like lowering energy costs and cutting taxes.

"When he first got elected, he said he was a moderate, all about affordability," Buller said. "I've watched him ... really be an ineffective member of Congress."

Mannion was first elected to Congress in 2024.
